We, PT Bank Oke Indonesia, Tbk (hereinafter referred to as 'we' or 'the Bank') would like to convey how we process your Personal Data while still paying attention to the provisions of the applicable laws, namely Law Number 27 of 2022 concerning Personal Data Protection, its derivative regulations, other relevant laws and regulations, including their amendments from time to time.
Personal Data Processing is the act of obtaining, collecting, processing, analyzing, storing, correcting, updating, displaying, annotating, transferring, disseminating, disclosing and deleting, and/or destroying Personal Data.
Personal Data refers to your data that is identified or can be identified individually or combined with other information either directly or indirectly through electronic or non-electronic systems. Personal Data consists of specific data (including personal financial data) and general data (including full name, gender, and nationality) as regulated in laws and regulations related to Personal Data Protection. - Legality of Personal Data Processing
Bank will Process Personal Data if it has fulfilled one or more of the following processing bases:.
- Bank has obtained explicit legal consent from you;
- Bank needs to fulfill the obligations of the agreement with you;
- Bank needs to fulfill its legal obligations based on the applicable laws and regulations;
- Banks need to meet the protection of your vital interests;
- Bank needs to carry out its duties in the public interest, public services, or the Bank's authority based on the applicable laws and regulations; and/or
- Bank needs to meet other legitimate interests by taking into account the objectives, needs, and balance of interests of the Bank and you.
- The Purpose of Data Processing:
We intend to process your personal data for the following purposes:- To provide, compile and/or develop banking services, facilities, products or services, including assisting the Bank in analyzing how the Bank's services are used, replying to inquiries, or notifying Users if there is a change to the service.
- To meet the requirements of the principle of knowing customers, efforts to mitigate the Bank's risks, as well as the implementation of verification/authentication of the correctness of your data based on applicable laws and regulations.
- For scoring and profiling activities, both carried out by us and third parties who cooperate with us, in order to make automated decisions against you for the purpose of improving services for you and our risk management.
- To comply with regulations or legal requirements, including for the purposes of the Bank's business administration, reporting to regulators, or inspections by the authorities, which are carried out in accordance with the applicable laws in Indonesia.
- For marketing purposes, i.e. to offer products or services, promotions, contests or information that may be of interest to you. The offer may be sent to you by the Bank and/or parties cooperating with the Bank via electronic mail, physical mail, short message service, facsimile, correspondence, and other media.
- For the Bank's operational activities involving consultation with the Bank's professional advisors or external auditors, including legal advisors, financial advisors, and consultants, sister companies/business groups, and any parties bound by confidentiality obligations with the Bank. In this regard, the Bank makes the best efforts to ensure that these parties implement the applicable personal data protection laws and regulations.
- To conduct research and statistical analysis including the use of new technologies.
- For other purposes in accordance with the Bank's internal policies and regulations, or in accordance with the terms and conditions governing the relationship between the Bank and you, which is carried out in accordance with the applicable laws and regulations.
- Data Processing by Third Parties or Personal Data Processors
If necessary, we may share your data with parties who cooperate with us in the context of carrying out the Bank's business activities. In addition, we may also submit your data to the competent authorities in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. -
Period of Processing of Personal Data and Retention Period
Your Personal Data that has been collected is processed during the period you are a customer of the Bank or a user of the Bank's products and/or services for the above purposes. We may retain your Personal Data after your use of products and/or services has expired until the necessary period of time by referring to laws and regulations. - Your Rights
You have the right to your Personal Data to:- To obtain information on the clarity of identity, the basis of legal interest, the purpose of requesting and using Personal Data, and the accountability of the party requesting Personal Data.
- To complete, update, and/or correct any errors and/or inaccuracies in my Personal Data.
- To gain access to and obtain a copy of my Personal Data.
- To terminate the processing, deletion and/or destruction of my Personal Data.
- Withdraw consent to the processing of my Personal Data.
- To object to decision-making actions that are based solely on automated processing, including profiling, that have legal consequences or have a significant impact on me.
- To delay or restrict the processing of Personal Data proportionately in accordance with the purposes for which my Personal Data is processed.
- To apply for other rights related to the processing of Personal Data as long as it is regulated in the applicable laws and regulations.
